season is here! We are super excited about all things stripy to wear and decorate with: Soft cashmere sweaters, cotton tees, rugs and bowls all hand knit, woven and painted with stripes. Check out some of our favorites below.
The Elder Statesman
cashmere sweaters come in a wide range of stripes. The Picasso
sweater in graphic black and white is a timeless classic, or try it in a softer palette with a mix of white & slate blue. The Horizon
sweater is true to its name, with gradating shades and widths of blue that mimic the sky as it meets to the ocean.
Faye Toogood has created a beautiful new set of serving bowls called Indigo Rain. It is a variation of her beautiful Indigo Storm
plates, using the same blurred blues but interpreted as a stripe. The hand painted stripe reminds us of Toogood
’s clothing collection, where hand painted lines have been turned into a print.
A cotton stripe T-Shirt is a classic piece that never goes out of style, no matter what your age! Arpenteur
makes the Brehat T
in a relaxed modern shape. For children, Makie
has designed an adorable stripe set, with a top and bottom in alternating widths of black & white stripes. Top off the look with a coordinating hat.
For the home, Tikau
weaves graphic stripes into their wool rugs. Each rug is sustainably handmade and expresses the individual signature of the artisan who made it.
And lets not forget our furry friends! Dosa has created adorable knitted stuffed animals, the tiger cat is a favorite at Tiina the Store.
