I had a baby this year, so my world has totally changed. I've also discovered that Makie and Marimekko are some of the best baby clothes around.  I like that their clothing can be unisex and they are of great quality.  You can pair Marimekko striped onesies and socks with Makie's hoodies and super cool Sarouel pants for a complete look, for a baby girl or boy.
For a new mom, like myself, practicality is key.  A nursing mom, especially, needs to have tops on hand that open in the front.  Salvatore Piccolo's button-down shirts are a perfect, stylish solution, as is a cardigan from S.N.S. Herning.  Flat, slip on shoes from Feit are perfect for walks and running errands.  It's always good to have a shawl from The Elder Statesman, for instance, now that it's colder.  And a key strap from Hope is needed when you're on the go.  Keys also entertain the baby.
Let's not forget the ever helpful new dad!  He needs new shirts because that baby spit up has really gotten him down.  How about a cool T from Visvim or a clean, white button-down from Arpenteur.  What guy doesn't love a great pair of super cool sneakers?  Visvim's got you covered there too.  Since mom is wrapped up with baby, dad needs to step it up with the chores.  A jacket from Arc'teryx Veilance is essential for errands like getting the groceries or shoveling snow.
