Ancient Greek Sandals Monogramming Event

On July 1st & 2nd Tiina the Store hosted a monogramming event with Ancient Greek Sandals. The brand has received a following all over the world, but this was the first time they’ve held a monogramming event in the U.S. The peaceful beach environment of the East End of Long Island was the perfect place to host a sandal event. One of the brands founding partners, Nikolas Minoglou, was on hand to execute the hot stamping and greet customers.
It was a wonderful day, with lots of fans of the brand stopping by to pick up a new pair of sandals and have them customized. "Hot stamping has always been a favorite technique with Ancient Greek Sandals, so it seemed only natural to let our customers personalize their own pair this summer using this traditional process," explained Christina Martini, Founder of Ancient Greek Sandals.  Customers chose from different symbols such as protective eyes, charms, zodiac signs, antique symbols and modern pictograms.
Featured, in addition the styles carried by Tiina the Store, were two very special collection by AGS. The Caravana collections draws inspiration from the mysticism and energy of the Mayan culture, combining this inspiration with the sophistication, strength and intellectuality of ancient Greece. The Ophion collection is a collaboration with ilias LALAoUNIS jewelry. Each shoe features a beautiful piece of 24 karat gold plated hardware that explores the power of the mythical snake which symbolizes fertility, healing, transformation and a creative life-force.
Select pieces from the ilias LALAoUNIS jewelry collection were also featured at the event. The divine gold pieces are handmade in Greece and inspired by civilizations past and present. Ancient techniques are applied to creations that are contemporary in design.
These pieces will be available at Tiina the Store for a limited time, visit our Amagansett store or contact us for more information on how to order these pieces.
