STORY

Jan-Jan Van Essche launched his eponymous line in 2010 in Belgium. The collection is based on Japanese concepts of “yukkuri” for “take it easy” or “slowly”. He works with patterns and textiles of different ethnographic cultural origins and translates them into a contemporary, genderless wardrobe. The Jan-Jan Van Essche collection is true poetry in its simplicity.
