Ifuji Small Italian Tray in Logwood Black. Vegetable dyed maple wood. Can be used as a serving tray or dish. The wood is dyed with water resistant dye. Stains may mark the tray if left for a long time. 100% wood. Handmade in Japan.
STORY
Masashi Ifuji is a Japanese craft artist based in Nagano. He specializes in exquisitely crafted, simple and functional wooden objects such as his famous Oval Boxes. He discovered Shaker objects when he was 15 and this lead him to become a wood worker. Today he continues to perfect his craft and produce his furniture and tableware.
