STORY
Masao Kozumi was born in Kumamoto, Japan in 1979. After graduating from Toyama City Institute of Glass Art, Kozumi started his career as a glass artist in Asahimachi, Toyama. He now lives and works in Gifu. His glassworks evoke the austere elegance of antiques due to his interest in and study of Edo Period (1603 - 1868) glass blowing techniques. He utilizes mold-blowing, which enables glass to be blown into any form at will. The results are unique works that exude serenity.p>
