Spalwart was founded by Stockholm natives Christopher Brattin and Fredrik Johansson after a chance discovery of old shoe molds from the 50’s at a factory storage warehouse in Slovakia. After convincing the owner to make samples using the old molds the pair decided to launch Spalwart in 2010. The brand continues to combine the traditional craftsmanship with a modern feeling while using premium materials.
